Get informed about city, county and state candidates and important issues prior to elections. This is an opportunity for the public to learn more about the candidates and their campaigns.

School Board Candidate Forum – March 18
Candidates: Duane “Butch” Becker, Sarah Carda, Jim Fitzgerald, Wayne Wurth.
Lunch at the forum is optional for $8. Pay at the door.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m.; lunch will be served by 11:45 a.m. and the forum will begin at 12 p.m.

City Commission and School Board Candidate Forum – March 19
7 p.m.
Come meet the candidates running for three positions for the Yankton City Commission and two positions for the Yankton School Board.

Regional Technical Education Center, 1200 W. 21st St. 7 p.m. School Board Candidates and 8 p.m. City Commission Candidates.

City Commission Candidates: Thomas Bixler, Brooke Blaalid, Chris Ferdig, Edward Gleich, Charlie Gross, Michael Schumacher, Brad Woerner.
