Chamber Dollars

Chamber Dollars are a program designed to keep dollars in Yankton. Each
year employers in the Yankton area collectively give thousands of dollars to
employees throughout the year for various incentives and recognitions. The
Chamber Dollars program is sponsored by the Chamber’s
Business Development Committee.

The employers (easy to
purchase, employee
satisfaction), the recipient of
Chamber Dollars, and most
of all local businesses!

How to participate?

Any Chamber Member is eligible to participate in the Chamber Dollars program and it does not cost a thing. You will receive a sticker “We Support Chamber Dollars” sign to put on your window, door or cash register. If you agree to participate, the only guidelines we have are:

     • No restrictions are put on the use of Chamber Dollars within your store
       (please do not exchange for cash).

     • Chamber Dollars are checks drawn against an account at a local 
       bank. Therefore, you may negotiate them as you would any check
       at your financial institution.

How do I buy Chamber Dollars for my employees?

Just call the Chamber at (605) 665-3636 and tell us how many you want and in what denomination. Chamber Dollars can be purchased in $5, $10 and $20 denominations and there is no service fee.
