Business Development

Goal   
To support business owners by providing programs for networking and education. This will be accomplished by identifying topics of interest in which to create business seminars and opportunities to inform and enhance business operations. 

2013 Strategic Plan 
•    Chamber Dollars – Publish
     and encourage use of
•    Holiday Promotion and
     Activities - Support all activities
     that take place during the holidays
•    Shop Yankton Campaign - 
     Showcase opportunities and
     encourage to shop local
•    Business Seminars – Provide seminars for businesses that will enhance
     their capability to run their business and better serve their customers
•    Christmas Ornament – Sponsor the Christmas ornament project of
     historic sites in Yankton or from  Yankton’s history 
•    Recruit committee members from retail and business

  Monthly Meeting
  Meetings are held the first Thursday at noon
  at the Yankton Chamber & Visitors Center
  Conference Room, 803 E. 4th St.
