Annual Meeting and Banquet for the Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce, its members and volunteers is held in January of each year.
It’s a time for thanking the hundreds of member companies, individuals and volunteers who contribute to the success of the Chamber, as well as the Yankton business community.
In addition, the Annual Meeting and Banquet presents the opportunity to recognize outstanding achievement by the business community's leaders and organizations. The following awards are typically presented:
- Ambassador of the Year
- Cornerstone Award
- Frank Yaggie Award
- South Dakota Family Business Association’s Yankton Family Business Award
Chamber members are given the opportunity to showcase their business during the event, by sponsoring a table center piece, displaying a banner or donating a raffle item.
This annual event is organized and sponsored by the Ambassadors Committee of the Chamber.

This year's event is called "Yankton Chamber Showcases Unity" and will be held on January 26, 2010.
