Hometown Holiday: Shop Local, Spread Joy

1) Visit Participating Businesses

Starting November 24, 2025, shop at any of the participating local businesses displaying a Hometown Holiday: Shop Local, Spread Joy sign. See list of participating businesses below (coming soon!)

2) Check In Using the QR Code

Each business will have a unique QR code displayed on their sign. Scan the code to open a short form and “check in.” Enter your name and phone number to receive one entry into the weekly prize drawing.

3) Earn Bonus Entries

Want to increase your chances? Upload a photo of your receipt from that business on the check-in form to earn one additional entry.

4) Keep Checking In All Season Long

You can check in at the same business multiple times throughout the campaign - each visit counts as a new entry!

5) Weekly Drawings

Drawings will take place every Monday at 4 PM from December 1 through December 22, 2025. Winners will be contacted by phone and can pick up their prizes at Yankton Thrive starting the following Tuesday.
